We want every author to be confident about working with us. This policy explains when refunds are available.
Before work begins
If you cancel before any work has started on a paid stage, you will receive a full refund of the payment for that stage.
After work begins
Because our services involve time from writers, editors and designers, payments for stages that are in progress or completed are generally not refundable. If you cancel part-way through a stage, we will refund any portion of the payment that relates to work not yet carried out, less [administration fee].
If we cannot deliver
If we are unable to deliver a service as described in your quote, you will receive a refund for the part of the service not delivered.
Third-party costs
Costs paid to third parties on your behalf, such as ISBNs, printing, stock images, narration or advertising spend, cannot be refunded once incurred.
How to request a refund
