What our Amazon book publishing services include
Publishing on Amazon is a chain of small decisions that add up. Each format needs its own correctly sized files. The title, subtitle, description, categories and keywords decide which readers see your book. Pricing, royalty options, territories and pre-order dates all affect how the book performs from the first day.
We work through these steps with you and make the changes in your own KDP account: account and tax setup, interior and cover upload, metadata, pricing, series and Author Central pages, and the final review before you press publish. If you have already published, we can audit the listing and fix what is holding it back.
Kindle eBook, paperback or hardcover: which should you publish?
Most authors start with a Kindle eBook and a paperback, because together they cover the two largest groups of Amazon readers. A hardcover suits gifts, libraries and collectors, and a large print edition opens the book to readers who find standard type tiring. An audiobook, produced through ACX, reaches people who listen rather than read.
Each format has its own file rules. A paperback or hardcover needs a full cover wrap whose spine width depends on page count and paper type, while a Kindle eBook needs a reflowable file that adapts to any screen. We prepare every format to Amazon’s specifications and check the previews before submission.
KDP Select or wide distribution?
KDP Select asks you to make your eBook exclusive to Amazon for the enrolment period. In return you can join Kindle Unlimited and use Amazon’s promotional tools. Going wide means selling your eBook in other stores as well, which suits some genres and long-term plans better. There is no single right answer, and you can change your mind later.
We explain the trade-offs for your genre and goals, then set up whichever route you pick. If you decide to go wide, our book distribution services cover the other stores, libraries and platforms.
Why your Amazon listing matters
Amazon works like a search engine. Readers find books through keywords, categories and recommendations, and then the product page has to convince them. A clear title and subtitle, a description that sells, correct categories and a cover that reads at thumbnail size all work together. No one can promise a ranking or a sales figure, but a well-built listing gives your book the best chance of reaching the right readers.

Choosing which Amazon services you need first
Amazon publishing has many moving parts, and it is rarely sensible to do everything at once. A first book usually needs the core set-up first: a correct KDP account, clean files, a good listing and an author page. Advertising, A+ Content and audiobooks come after that, once the book page is ready to convert visitors. We look at your book, your budget and your goals, and recommend an order of work, so each step builds on the one before it and no money is spent too early.
Keeping control of your Amazon accounts
Whatever help you use, the accounts should be yours. Your KDP, Author Central and advertising accounts hold your royalties, your reports and your readers, and they should be opened in your name with your payment details. We work with your permission, keep a record of every change we make and never ask you to hand over ownership. If you ever want to stop working with us, you keep everything.
Questions about Amazon book publishing
How long does it take to publish a book on Amazon?
Once your files and details are final, setup takes us a few days. Amazon then reviews each title before it goes live, which commonly takes a short time but can take longer. A full project that includes editing and design usually takes four to eight weeks for an edited manuscript, and your quote lists a timeline for each stage.
Do I need my own ISBN to publish on Amazon?
Kindle eBooks do not require an ISBN. For print books, KDP offers a free ISBN, but it ties that edition to Amazon. Buying your own ISBN lists you as the publisher and keeps the book portable if you later add other printers or stores. We explain both options before you decide.
Will the KDP account be in my name?
Yes. The account, the listing and the royalties are yours. We work through account invites and team access, never your password, and you can remove access at any time.
Can you fix an Amazon listing that is already live?
Yes. We can review your categories, keywords, description, pricing, series linking and book page content, and update what needs improving. Some problems, such as merged editions or incorrect categories, are handled through Amazon support, and we help with that too.
Do you guarantee bestseller status or a sales ranking?
No. Nobody honestly can. We control the quality of the files, the listing and the launch setup, and we advise on pricing and promotion, but rankings depend on your book, your genre, your budget and the readers.
Do I need all of the Amazon services?
No. Many authors start with KDP set-up and a good listing, then add other services later. Your quote includes only what you choose.
