PublishDrive is a digital publishing platform that sends eBooks and audiobooks to online stores, subscription services and libraries around the world from a single account. Our PublishDrive publishing services set up your account, prepare your files, choose your stores and pricing, and publish your book, with your rights and your account kept in your name.
PublishDrive is built for authors who want broad international reach and who care about data on sales and pricing. Its plans carry a cost, so we help you judge whether it pays for itself. This service is part of our book distribution services.
What our PublishDrive service includes
- Account setup. We guide you through creating your PublishDrive account, accepting terms and adding payment and tax details.
- File preparation. A clean EPUB and cover, and audiobook files where relevant, built to the current retailer requirements.
- Store and territory selection. A plan for which stores and countries suit your book, including markets beyond the big English-language retailers.
- Price and promotion plan. Country pricing and a simple promotion plan that follows each store’s rules.
- Reports and analytics. A walk-through of the dashboard so you can see where your book sells and adjust.

What is PublishDrive?
PublishDrive is an aggregator and publishing platform for eBooks and audiobooks. You upload a book once, choose the stores you want and PublishDrive delivers it and collects the reports. It focuses on international reach and offers tools for price experiments and sales analysis. Its plans and fees have changed over time, so we confirm the current terms before we recommend it.
How does PublishDrive differ from Draft2Digital and direct publishing?
Direct publishing gives you full control of each store but means managing many accounts. A distributor such as Draft2Digital simplifies that with a single upload, and PublishDrive adds a stronger focus on international retailers and analytics. The cost model, store list and reporting differ, so the best choice depends on your goals. We compare them for your book and often suggest a combination, such as direct publishing in the biggest stores and an aggregator for the rest.
Which stores and countries does PublishDrive reach?
It reaches major global retailers and a range of smaller stores, subscription services and libraries in many countries, including markets that are hard to enter alone. The exact list changes, and a few stores take time to approve new titles. We check the current list, recommend the stores that fit your genre and make sure you do not enrol in an exclusive programme that would block them.
How do I price on PublishDrive?
You can set prices by store and by country, and the platform offers tools for testing and comparing results. A price that works in one market may not suit another, so we start with a simple grid and refine it after the first reports. We also keep your pricing consistent with Amazon, so readers do not see large gaps between stores. Our Kindle eBook publishing service plans the Amazon side.
What about audiobooks?
PublishDrive also distributes audiobooks to selected stores and services. Audiobook files must meet strict technical rules for format, chapter structure and loudness, and exclusive agreements elsewhere can limit where you can publish. We check your files and your contracts first, then plan the release. Our audiobook distribution service covers the wider picture.
How long does it take and what does it cost?
Setup takes a few days once files are final, and stores add their own review time. We do not publish a price list. Every project receives a free quote with a fixed price in writing before work starts, and we show you PublishDrive’s current plan charges separately, so you see the whole cost.
What should I prepare before I use PublishDrive?
Have your final edited manuscript, a finished cover at the size stores require, your description, categories and keywords, and a price plan for your main countries. Decide in advance which stores you will serve directly, because the same eBook should not reach one store by two routes. Check that no exclusive programme, such as KDP Select, applies to this title. Preparing these points first saves rework, avoids duplicate listings and means your book can go live in every store at about the same time.
